In 1952 Ingmar Bergman directed a Swedish film "Secrets of Woman", a drama about young relationships told by a group of women; the Italian maison Sportmax for the F/W11 collection, reflecting women's secrets and desires,  takes the inspiration from the northern Europe landscapes where Bergman adapts his movies. Minimalist items from menswear wardrobe as straight pants and shirts but also a hint of a relaxing weekend in the forest in cosy raincoats, shearling coats, cocoon knits and blanket skirts. Red Poppy, Gold and Mandarin to start the day, tulle and transparent chiffon for the evenings, magical fairytale prints on long dresses inspired by the landscapes of Hans Christian Andersen' s tales, lit up by ice-like sequins in silver and gold. Heavy wool, tweed , cotton and silk for the fabrics. Leather for the accessories, from the long gloves to wear on wool bordeaux turtle neck, perfectly match with the bucket bags and the brown purses to bring blocked on your hand for easy movement. I forgot, a small gem, during the Fashion Show i loved the Busta Rhymes remix soundtrack. Click on Read More to see more pics.
